What to expect.

Human Test Desk is a small usability-testing pilot operated by an independent human tester. These are the service rules for the pilot.

Free early access

We are collecting interest before opening paid tests. Joining the list is free and does not book a test, promise a launch date, or authorize payment. We store your email, optional note, signup source, time, and consent to contact you about this pilot. Only the operator can view the list. Email addresses are not verified, and confirmation emails are not sent at this stage. Please do not include confidential information. When we contact you, you can reply to request removal.

The planned test

One purchase includes up to 10 minutes of testing on one public website, up to three tasks, and a written report. The price is $5 USD. No screen recording is included. Feedback reflects one person’s experience; it is not a security, accessibility, legal, or compliance certification.

Your permission

Only submit websites you own or have permission to test. Do not submit passwords, private links, customer data, payment information, or confidential content. Tasks must not require real purchases, downloads, destructive actions, or logging into accounts.

Timing and cancellations

This is a manually operated pilot with no guaranteed completion deadline. Paid orders are accepted only when the queue is open. You can cancel a queued or in-progress test from your workspace. A verified payment is refunded before cancellation is confirmed. Refund settlement timing depends on your payment provider. If the tester cannot complete the request, they can cancel and refund it. Completed reports cannot be cancelled through the pilot workflow.

Your data

We store the URL, tasks, optional context, device choice, report, account identifier, and payment references needed to deliver and track your test. The tester can see submitted briefs and reports. API keys are stored as hashes and can be revoked in your workspace. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by this application.

Access

Reports are available only to the submitting account, its authorized API keys, and the pilot tester. Keep your keys private. Shared site links do not grant access to another customer’s tests. Avoid submitting sensitive information; this early pilot does not provide a self-service data-deletion workflow.

Before you pay

Read the current availability and price in your workspace. Creating a request does not charge a card. A separate Stripe Checkout step requires an authorized payer.
